  • For a quick and healthy breakfast have a bowl of wholegrain cereal with fresh or dried fruit and some milk – skim or reduced fat milk or soy milk.
  • Open a can of baked beans and serve with wholemeal or multigrain toast.
  • Make a smoothie by blending a banana or fresh berries with plain yoghurt and skim or reduced-fat milk or with fruit juice.
  • If you must eat on the run, grab a piece of fresh fruit, such as a banana or apple, some nuts and seeds, or a low-fat yoghurt.
