Gingerbread Cookies

Quick and healthy recipe for gingerbread cookies

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sugar-free yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons Cary’s Sugar-Free Maple-Flavored Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons water

Instructions

  1. Use a vegetable spray to lightly grease the cookie sheets.
  2. Combine cake mix, ginger, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Stir to mix. Beat in maple syrup and water.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 in. (5 cm) apart onto the greased cookie sheets.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 9 to 11 minutes.

Yields 30 cookies
