Lasagne

Feel like Italian tonite? How about a lean lasange diet recipe for dinner?

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. ground beef
  • I T. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Tomato Sauce
  • 3 T. water
  • 1/4 t. garlic powder
  • 1/2 t. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. lasagne noodles, cooked
  • 1 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 oz. provolone cheese, grated

t. = teaspoon, T. = Tablespoon, c. = cup

Instructions

  1. Crumble beef in small amount of water; add onion.
  2. Boil until meat is cooked; drain.
  3. Blend Tomato Sauce, 3 T. (45 mL) water, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add beef-onion mixture; stir to blend.
  4. Spread small amount of sauce into bottom of individual baking dish. Layer noodles, sauce, mozzarella and provolone cheese. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
