Feel like Italian tonite? How about a lean lasange diet recipe for dinner?
Ingredients- 2 oz. ground beef
- I T. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. Tomato Sauce
- 3 T. water
- 1/4 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. lasagne noodles, cooked
- 1 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 oz. provolone cheese, grated
t. = teaspoon, T. = Tablespoon, c. = cup
Instructions
- Crumble beef in small amount of water; add onion.
- Boil until meat is cooked; drain.
- Blend Tomato Sauce, 3 T. (45 mL) water, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add beef-onion mixture; stir to blend.
- Spread small amount of sauce into bottom of individual baking dish. Layer noodles, sauce, mozzarella and provolone cheese. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
