Old Time Carrot Slaw

Hey old timer check out this old time carrot slaw diet recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • 2 T. white vinegar
  • 3 env. aspartame sweetener
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • dash black pepper
  • 3 c. carrots, shredded
  • 8 ripe olives, sliced

t. = teaspoon, T. = Tablespoon, c. = cup

 

Instructions

  1. Combine water, oil, vinegar, aspartame, salt and pepper.
  2. Stir to blend. Pour over carrots.
  3. Toss to completely coat. Garnish with olive slices.
  4. Cover tightly and chill thoroughly. Drain well before serving.

Yields 6 servings
