Hey old timer check out this old time carrot slaw diet recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 T. vegetable oil
- 2 T. white vinegar
- 3 env. aspartame sweetener
- 1/2 t. salt
- dash black pepper
- 3 c. carrots, shredded
- 8 ripe olives, sliced
t. = teaspoon, T. = Tablespoon, c. = cup
Instructions
- Combine water, oil, vinegar, aspartame, salt and pepper.
- Stir to blend. Pour over carrots.
- Toss to completely coat. Garnish with olive slices.
- Cover tightly and chill thoroughly. Drain well before serving.
Yields 6 servings
