Salted Pumpkin Seeds

Easy to make salted pumpkin seeds a must in any dieter’s list of recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 2 c. pumpkin seeds

t. = teaspoon, T. = Tablespoon, c. = cup

 

Instructions

  1. Combine water and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Cook and stir until salt dissolves; cool.
  3. Add pumpkin seeds and soak overnight.
  4. Drain thoroughly. Pat seeds dry with a paper towel. Place on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 300°F (150°C) until seeds are dry, about 1 hour.

Yields 2 cups
