Sweet and Sour Smoked Pork Chops

Treat yourself with this healthy sweet and sour smoked pork chops dish.

Ingredients

 

  • 8(2 lbs.) smoked pork chops
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 3 T. cornstarch
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 2 T. granulated brown sugar replacement
  • 2 T. cider vinegar
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 c. fresh pineapple chunks

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown chops on both sides in the olive oil.
  2. Add the broth and cover, simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar replacement, and vinegar in a bowl; stir to blend.
  4. Add to pan, stirring until thickened.
  5. Add the green pepper, onion, and pineapple. Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until heated.
